These days, anything you do or say might end up on the internet. This is exactly why I pride myself in doing and saying awesome things. This page contains samples of my public writing and photography highlighting my adventures abroad. (Click on the pictures below to view full posts and photos.)
STUDY ABROAD LONDON BLOG
This is a blog I created to relay stories to family, friends, and the public about my experiences while living in London for three and a half months in fall 2011. The blog includes photos, lists, funny anecdotes — just about everything detailing my time abroad. My blog captures my personality and gives a great picture of who I am outside of academia.
VISUAL RHETORIC: ADVENTURES IN FRANCE
The following entry combines narrative with my own photography. It tells the story of my spontaneous weekend with two friends in the Loire Valley of France.
VISUAL RHETORIC: WHEN I WAS A ZOMBIE…
This entry portrays my adventure throughout London, specifically the Hampstead and Chelsea areas, as a zombie. I dressed up for Halloween as a self-protest of London’s lack of interest in the holiday. None of my friends thought I’d go through with it, but I am so glad that I did; I’ll certainly never forget it.
